Why Partner with Smile Train
Smile Train works hand-in-hand with corporations to develop customized partnerships that increase social impact and grow engagement with your brand among employees and consumers.
Purpose-driven Partnerships
Here are just a few of the ways corporations have chosen to partner with Smile Train.
Cause-Related Marketing
Candid is a direct-to-consumer clear aligner company focused on helping customers receive orthodontic care at an affordable price, relaunched their partnership with Smile Train in 2019. Using both their digital and physical store footprint, Candid is engaging new consumers in its efforts to support Smile Train. For every teeth aligner kit sold, Candid will make a $25 donation to Smile Train. Candid’s goal is to fund over 1,000 surgeries in 2019. Now, customers have the opportunity to change their own smile while helping children get the life-changing care they need. Employee Engagement
In July of 2018, GSK Consumer Healthcare and Smile Train announced a five-year partnership with the goal of transforming lives, one smile at a time. GSK is encouraging their employees around the globe to volunteer their time, skills and raise funds for Smile Train. Working closely with Smile Train’s Corporate Partnerships team, GSK country offices are finding fun and unique ways to involve employees in the work and vision of Smile Train. Over 40 country offices have joined in this global employee movement so far, hosting local launches, encouraging employees to create fundraisers, attending conferences and participating in local team events, from writing get-well cards for Smile Train’s patients to bake sales, craft fairs, and physical challenge events.
Event Sponsorship
Smile Train engages with our fundraisers all around the world to join together for global fundraising days, including Yoga for Smiles. Every year in honor of the United Nations’ International Day of Yoga, we invite companies and individuals to practice yoga and raise funds for Smile Train. Companies like Beverly Hills MD and CorePower Yoga have been major supporters of this day, sponsoring events across the country and engaging their own employees through office events. In-Kind Donation
Dr. Brown's, makers of the Dr. Brown's Specialty Feeding System, employs a two-pronged strategy to support the work of Smile Train. In addition to donating a portion of proceeds from the sale of Dr. Brown's Specialty Feeding Systems to Smile Train, Dr. Brown's has also donated 400 of their Specialty Feeding Systems to the New Mexico Cleft Palate Center, a Smile Train partner in New Mexico servicing Native American communities. While Smile Train mainly provides support for cleft programs in the developing world, the cleft treatment challenges faced by the Native American population within the U.S. are very similar to the realities seen in many developing countries.
